Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

Who We Are

"Who" and "What" is the Prayer Task Force?

The PRAYER TASK FORCE NETWORK is a part of Assemblies of God World Missions and The Missions Awareness Team. The director of The Prayer Task Force Network is Tommy R. Carpenter.

The PTF is the “Aaron and Hur” ministry of Assemblies of God World Missions (Exodus 17). The priestly prayer ministry of Aaron and the praise ministry of Hur holds up the arms of the missionary family, the national and international leadership, local churches and ministers and interceeds for the needs of those who have not been reached with the gospel of Christ.

  • We work with world missionaries, praying for their protection, their provision, and their ministries.
  • We work with Assemblies of God districts in cooperation with the district missions directors and superintendents to recruit and mobilize intercessory prayer groups and promote World Evangelism Prayer Events.
  • We work with local churches to develop a strong prayer ministry which combined with fasting will build a strong church that can reach all nations.
  • We help the local church develop a prayer plan where each person involved will be given a country of the world as an object of daily prayer.
  • We organize “Prayer Journeys” to foreign countries to help missionaries with the task of prayer and fasting.
